Hold down the Pause button for 3 seconds. Make sure the Pause light is flashing. Then press the Tear Off button to select one of the fonts listed in the table below. Continue pressing the Tear Off button until the lights indicate the one you want.

Then press the Pause button again to exit Micro Adjust mode. The selected font stays in effect until you change it again or turn off the printer. However, any font choices you make with your software will override your control panel selection. You will not notice any difference in printing unless you have specified margins in your software applications that are less than the minimum allowed by the LX 5.

In this case you may need to adjust your top and bottom margin settings through your software or by adjusting the top-of-form position. Adjusting the Loading Top-of-Form and Tear-off Positions with Micro Adjust To adjust the top-of-form or tear-off position, make sure paper is loaded in the printer.

Then hold down the Pause button for 3 seconds to enter Micro Adjust mode. When you are done, press Pause again to exit Micro Adjust mode.
